ComingSoon introduces an exclusive product Almost Home: Life After Incarceration clip from Bill Wisneski’s documentary. The film is scheduled to premiere on Friday, June 23 at TCL Chinese Theater 6 as part of Dances With Films.

What is Almost Home: Life After Incarceration about?

“In the United States, more than 600,000 people return home from incarceration each year, often with little support,” reads the documentary’s official synopsis. “For people living in the shadow of their criminal records, overcoming the extensive legal restrictions and social stigma is a daunting task.

“This unique film follows ex-prisoners enrolled in an innovative community college program. Their inspiring stories illustrate how education and support can transform lives, open doors to new careers, heal trauma, and strengthen entire families and communities.”
