Dr. Death Season 2 Trailer Previews Next Story in Peacock Anthology

The Dr. Death Season 2 trailer has officially released, previewing the next story in Peacock’s anthology series ahead of its premiere on December 21, 2023.

The new season of Dr. Death will star Edgar Ramirez and Mandy Moore and will tell a dramatized story of Swiss-Italian surgeon and medical research Paolo Macchiarini. The new trailer previews Ramirez’s role as Macchiarini while also briefly showing Moore, who is set to make her highly anticipated return to television with the new season.

What do we know about Dr. Death Season 2?

Dr. Death Season 2 will be written and executive-produced by showrunner Ashley Michel Hoban. The next installment will feature the “Miracle Man” storyline based on the most recent third season of the podcast.

“In Season 2, Paolo Macchiarini is a charming surgeon, renowned for his innovative operations that earn him the nickname ‘Miracle Man,’” reads the synopsis. “When investigative journalist Benita Alexander approaches him for a story, the line between personal and professional begins to blur, changing her life forever. As she learns how far Paolo will go to protect his secrets, a group of doctors halfway across the world makes shocking discoveries of their own that call everything about the ‘Miracle Man’ into question.”

Executive producers are Patrick Macmanus, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Taylor Latham, Aaron Hart, Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy, and Linda Gase. The next installment will be directed by Jennifer Morrison and Laura Belsey.
