Grown-ish season 5 is at the top Disney Plus schedule July 17-23.
On Wednesday, July 19, Disney Plus subscribers can watch Grown-ish season 5 on their favorite streamer. A spin-off of the popular sitcom Black-ish, Grown-ish premiered in January 2018. It follows Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi) as she attends the fictional California University of the Liberal Arts while exploring the ramifications of college life, including dating, partying, academic pressures, and finding her own life path. In Season 5, the focus shifted to Zoey’s younger brother, Andre Junior (Marcus Scribner). Over the years, the cast has included Deon Cole, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Chris Parnell, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat, Diggy Simmons, Daniella Perkins, and Justine Skye, among others. The sixth and final season of the series is currently airing on Freeform. The date for the series finale has yet to be announced.
On the same day, Disney Plus will also premiere the fifth part of Secret Invasion. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe series is based on the comic book series of the same name by Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales and Laura Martin. In it, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and his allies face off against a group of Skrulls bent on taking over Earth. It stars Ben Mendelsohn, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Richard Dormer, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Don Cheadle, Charlayne Woodard, Christopher McDonald and Katie Finneran.
Little Disney Plus fans will be happy to know that the streamer is also releasing five episodes of Hailey’s On It! will add. in the catalog from Wednesday.
