“Daryl washes ashore in France and is trying to figure out how he got there and why,” the log line reads. “The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. However, as he embarks on the journey, the connections he makes along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon revolves around Norman Reedus’ beloved Walking Dead character who finds himself far from home. Joining Reedus on the series are Harry Potter graduate Clémence Poésy, Chernobyl actor Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, newcomer Louis Puech Scigliuzzi and more.
Although the project was originally conceived as a Daryl- and Carol-centric series, Melissa McBride left the spin-off to take a hiatus from the franchise after eleven years on the main series. However, recent set photos seem to confirm McBride’s appearance in the spin-off after she was spotted filming with Reedus.
