Dark Winds Season 2 Trailer Sets Release Date For AMC Premiere

AMC revealed that dark winds Trailer for the second season. The next chapter of Graham Roland’s psychological thriller will be released on July 30th with six new episodes.

The video features Zahn McClarnon’s Lt. Joe Leaphorn as he faces a complicated case tied to a past personal tragedy. It depicts the Navajo Nation plagued by the arrival of a sinister man responsible for several Navajo murders.

What can you expect from Dark Winds Season 2?

Dark Winds is based on Tony Hillerman’s Leaphorn & Chee novels. McClarnon is joined by returning cast members Kiowa Gordon as Jim Chee and Jessica Matten as Sgt. Manuelito, Deanna Allison as Emma Leaphorn, and Elva Guerra as Sally Growing Thunder. Season 2 also introduces Martinez as Sheriff Gordo Sena, Joseph Runningfox as Henry Leaphorn, Jeri Ryan as Rosemary Vines, and Nicholas Logan as Colton Wolf.

“This season, Lt. Joe Leaphorn reverts to Jim Chee, his former deputy-turned-private investigator, as their separate cases bring them together in pursuit of the same suspect,” reads the synopsis. “They find themselves in the high deserts of Navajo land, hunting a killer who wants them to protect a secret that opens old wounds and challenges Leaphorn’s ethics and ethics.”

The series was created and executive produced by Graham Roland. In addition to starring in the lead role, McClarnon also serves as executive producer along with George RR Martin, Robert Redford, Anne Hillerman, Chris Eyre, Vince Gerardis and Tina Elmo.
