Madix becomes the first participant in the 32nd DTWS season
Madix confirmed the news during a recent appearance on GMA (via The Hollywood Reporter). No additional cast members have been announced for the series at this time.
Madix is best known for starring as herself on the Bravo reality television series Vanderpump Rules. The series focuses on Lisa Vanderpump and the staff at her various restaurants and bars. Her name rose to fame in the show’s final season, when it was revealed that her longtime partner, Tom Sandoval, was having an affair (dubbed “Scandoval”) with her friend and cast member, Raquel Leviss.
The 11th season of the series is currently being filmed. That means Madix will be doing double duty in preparation for Dancing With the Stars.
Dancing With the Stars debuted on ABC in 2005 and has since become one of the country’s most popular competitive shows. The series pairs celebrities with professional dancers, each performing in front of audiences and different judges.
