Damian Lewis is back as Bobby Axelrod in Season 7 of Billions
The new trailer for the upcoming season gives a glimpse of the chaotic conclusion. The biggest moment, however, comes with actor Damian Lewis’ return as hedge fund billionaire Bobby “Axe” Axelrod.
Lewis left the show after season five but will return for six of the final twelve episodes. In the trailer, Axelrod jokes that the vacation doesn’t last as long as it should.

The end comes as Showtime is developing multiple Billions-based spin-offs for the upcoming Showtime-rebranded Paramount+. Series creators Brian Koppelman and David Levien are developing these four potential series. These include “Millions,” which follows the up-and-coming financiers, and “Trillions,” which focuses on the ultra-rich. Two other untitled shows, which will take place in Miami and London, are also in development.
Billions stars include Paul Giamatti, Corey Stoll, Maggie Siff, Asia Kate Dillon, David Costabile, Toby Leonard Moore, Condola Rashad, Jeffrey DeMunn, Kelly AuCoin and Daniel Breaker.
“In Season 7, alliances will be turned upside down,” the logline reads. “Old wounds are turned into weapons. Loyalties are put to the test. Betrayal takes on epic proportions. Enemies become cautious friends. And Bobby Axelrod returns as the stakes ramp up from Wall Street to around the world.”
