Showtime revealed that Billions season 7 premiere date will come later this year.
When does Billions season 7 start?
Showtime has officially set the premiere date of Billions Season 7 to August 11, 2023, where the first episode will stream on Paramount+ with Showtime. The series will then air its on-air premiere on August 13, 2023, with episodes appearing weekly.
The end comes while Showtime is currently developing several spin-offs based on Billions for the forthcoming premium network rebranding to Paramount+ with Showtime. Series creators Brian Koppelman and David Levien are developing four potential spin-offs: Millions, about aspiring financiers; trillions over the ultra-rich; and two other untitled shows, which will be held in Miami and London, respectively.
Billions currently stars Paul Giamatti, Corey Stoll, Maggie Siff, Asia Kate Dillon, David Costabile, Toby Leonard Moore, Condola Rashad, Jeffrey DeMunn, Kelly AuCoin and Daniel Breaker.
“In Season 7, alliances will be turned upside down,” the logline reads. “Old wounds are turned into weapons. Loyalties are put to the test. Betrayal takes on epic proportions. Enemies become cautious friends. And Bobby Axelrod returns as the stakes ramp up from Wall Street to around the world.”
Billions is created and executive produced by showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien. The series was also created by Andrew Ross Sorkin. You can stream previous seasons on Showtime’s platforms.
