Grammy-winning artist Billie Eilish and doll superstar Barbie have met Instagram officially.
Eilish confirmed her involvement in Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated Barbie movie on the platform. The “Ocean Eyes” singer announced that she and longtime collaborator/brother Finneas have created a Barbie movie song titled “What Was I Made For,” which will be released July 13 at 7 p.m. PT.
“We made this song for Barbie and it means the absolute world to me. The movie will change your life and hopefully this song will too,” Eilish wrote in her Instagram post.
It’s not the first time Eilish and Finneas have composed a song for a feature film. The acclaimed sibling duo previously won an Oscar for Best Original Song for their work on the theme song, “No Time to Die.”
