It’s currently unclear which Marvel Studios project the actor will be involved in, but fans are speculating it could be Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which is slated for a 2026 release. However, there’s also a possibility that it’s a project dealing with the mid-credits scenes of Multiverse of Madness featuring Charlize Theron’s Clea.
The Doctor Strange MCU story
The Oscar nominee made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Scott Derrickson’s 2016 film Doctor Strange, which starred Dr. Stephen Strange became the chief wizard. He has appeared in six Marvel Studios films to date, including Avengers: Infinity War and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Sam Raimi directed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Other starring roles include Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, and more.
