According to the report, Dafoe will play a police officer in the afterlife, although the exact details of his character are currently unknown. Most of the film’s plot is being kept secret, and little is currently known about the project past the release date.

Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux and Monica Bellucci will also appear in the film.
Beetlejuice 2 will once again be directed by Tim Burton. This marks Burton’s comeback as a feature film director, having last directed Disney’s live-action Dumbo in 2019. The project has now been in development for more than three decades, with Burton initially planning to set the sequel in Hawaii.
