The film will go up against Warner Bros. when it opens in cinemas. Wise Guys and Blumhouse’s Imaginary. It will also hit theaters in the same month as Sony Pictures’ highly anticipated Marvel film Madame Web.

Argylle plays Henry Cavill (The Witcher, Justice League), John Cena (The Suicide Squad), Samuel L. Jackson (MCU films), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World: Dominion), Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek) and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Academy Award-winning actor Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2) and Grammy-winning singer Dua Lipa in her acting debuts will also be featured provide the original music for the title track and score for the high-profile project
Based on author Ellie Conway’s upcoming spy novel, due out later this year, the film adaptation follows the world’s greatest spy, Argylle, as he embarks on an adventure around the world. Vaughn’s Marv Studios are looking to advance the project into the first of at least three films in the potential major franchise, which will be set in multiple locations around the world including America and London.
Argylle will be directed by Matthew Vaughn from a screenplay adapted by Jason Fuchs. Executive Producers are Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn and Adam Fishbach, with Fuchs, Adam Bohling and David Reid producing.
