The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 and The King’s Speech are headlining Prime Video schedule for July 10-16.
On Friday, Prime Video will also add The King’s Speech to its catalogue. Released in 2010, the film tells the true story of King George VI. and his severe speech impediment. Directed by Tom Hooper and written by David Seidler, it stars Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter. The King’s Speech was a huge box office success, grossing $427 million on a production budget of $15 million. He also won four Oscars from twelve nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director for Hooper, Best Actor for Firth, and Best Original Screenplay for Seidler.
