Who is the cast of Alien: Romulus?
Alien: Romulus Álvarez is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Rodo Sayagues. The film is directed by Cailee Spaeny (The Craft: Legacy, Priscilla), Isabela Merced (Sicario: Day of the Soldado), David Jonsson (Industry, Rye Lane), Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone), Spike Fearn (Tell Me Everything ) and Aileen Wu. Franchise creator Ridley Scott is co-producing with Michael Pruss.
Further details about the plot and the characters are still being kept secret. However, there should be “no connection” to previous films. Álvarez, himself a fan of the iconic franchise, pitched a movie idea to Scott in a casual chat a few years ago. This eventually led to Scott calling Álvarez last year to see if he was still interested and things were quickly settled.
20th Century then chose the new Alien film based on the strength of Álvarez’s pitch because, according to 20th Century’s Steve Asbell, it was a “really good story with a bunch of characters that you’ve never seen before.” “.
