ABC Releases Trailers for Abbott Elementary Season 3, Grey’s Anatomy, and More

ABC has dropped the official trailers for the upcoming 2024 return of its ten shows, including Abbott Elementary Season 3, Grey’s Anatomy Season 20, and The Good Doctor Season 7. This comes after delays due to last year’s WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, which both lasted for several months.

Which ABC shows are set to come back in 2024?

Abbott Elementary is a workplace comedy created and executive produced by Quinta Brunson, who is also leading the cast as Janine Teagues. Season 3 recently welcomed three new recurring cast members: Josh Segarra (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law), Kimia Behpoornia (Hacks), and Benjamin Norris (Never Have I Ever), who are playing school district representatives. The series returns on February 7.

Created by Shonda Rhimes, Grey’s Anatomy is a high-intensity medical drama following Meredith Grey and the team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial who are faced with life-or-death decisions daily. Despite exiting her series regular role during the last season, Ellen Pompeo will still served as the narrator and is still set to make a few appearances in Season 20. The hit show returns on March 14.

Starring Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, The Good Doctor will be coming back for its seventh and final season on February 20. The medical drama also stars Paige Spara as Lea Dilallo, Richard Schiff as Dr. Aaron Glassman, Will Yun Lee as Dr. Alex Park, Fiona Gubelmann as Dr. Morgan Reznick, Christina Chang as Dr. Audrey Lim, and more.

Shonda Rhimes’ firefighter drama, Station 19, will also be returning for its seventh and final season on March 19. The series stars Barrett Doss as Victoria Hughes, Boris Kodjoe as Robert Sullivan, Danielle Savre as Maya Bishop, Grey Damon as Jack Gibson, Jaina Lee Ortiz as Andy Herrera, Jay Hayden as Travis Montgomery, and Okieriete Onaodowan as Dean Miller. It also features Jason George and Stefania Spampinato reprising their respective Grey’s Anatomy roles as Ben Warren and Carina DeLuca.

The Rookie is a police procedural crime drama starring Nathan Fillion as John Nolan. Joining him are Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winton, Shawn Ashmore, Mekia Cox, Jenna Dewan, Tru Valentino and more. Season 6 premieres on February 20.

After getting canceled at Fox after six seasons, Ryan Murphy’s procedural drama 9-1-1 has officially found a new home at ABC for its seventh installment. The series stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Guzman, and more. Season 7 premieres on March 14.
