The renowned actor and pilot will receive the organization's honored Spreading Wings Award on November 14, at the Lowry-area museum. The award honors "those who have dedicated their lives to flight and advances in aviation."

The 6th Annual Spreading Wings Gala is being held on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. at the Wings Over the Rockies Museum located at 7711 East Academy Blvd. The event features cocktails, dinner, a live auction and a special presentation by Ford. Reservations are required

Harrison Ford is being given one of the aviation industry’s top awards for his work as a pilot. He is being honored for his work with the program at the 6th Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards ceremony, which will take place on 22 January in Los Angeles.
